Richard Bauman, D.D.S.

Board Certified Root Canal Specialist

Dr. Bauman is a graduate of the University of Utah and received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. He completed a General Practice Residency at the VA Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. Dr. Bauman completed his specialty training in endodontics at the University of Louisville. He is a Board-Certified endodontist, and a Diplomate of the American Association of Endodontists. He also teaches the general practice dental residents at the VA hospital.

Dr. Bauman has done extensive research to earn his Masters Degree in Oral Biology, and received the American Association of Endodontist and DENTSPLY International Outstanding Research Presentation Award in 2007. He had his research published in the International Endodontic Journal. You can view the article here.

He is dedicated to provided his patients a high quality, comfortable consultation and treatment. With an emphasis on teaching, he enjoys explaining available options and alleviating concerns and fears associated with endodontic procedures. When he is not working, Dr. Bauman spends all of his time with his wife and children. There is no greater joy for him than his family. Together they enjoy many outdoor and family activities.
